Poinciana Residents for Smart Change

Widening of Poinciana Boulevard from two to four lanes has been sorely needed for many years and construction is now underway.  The first phase, from Oren Brown Road to Pam Road, just south of Route 535, has been completed.  The phases now underway include:

● Phases II & III

   ● Construction starting.
   ● Progress to continue through Fall 2010.
   ● Construction includes:

       ● Crescent Lakes Road to 17/92
           Phase III on hold pending funding

       ● One mile north of CSX tracks to Oren Brown

  ● Phase IV

    ● Pleasant Hill Road to Crescent Lakes Road.
    ● Dependent upon funding, may start in 2012.
