aaaaaaaaaaaaiii

As of February 2010 Poinciana residents have received promising news for a possible rail transportation link between Poinciana and the rest of the world. In December of 2009 the Florida Legislature approved funding for the Sunrail Commuter Rail project which if completed on schedule would connect Poinciana with Kissimmee and downtown Orlando.

In January of 2010 the State of Florida received approval from the Federal government to supply the initial funding for a high speed rail project connecting the Orlando Airport with the downtown Orlando Convention Center, Disney, Lakeland and Tampa.

Details will need to be worked out as to connection between the two projects and completion dates but with a little luck and support from the Poinciana area it may be possible to take a car or bus from a residence in Poinciana via train with connection
to points of work or interest in Orlando or Tampa or the world beyond by connecting to an airline at Orlando International.
